Christopher Nolan has consistently turned out extraordinary films. Looking back over his filmography reveals Memento, The Prestige, and of course the Dark Night series Batman films. All have received excellent reviews and are well regarded. I imagine (no pun intended) that Inception will be another great film to ad to Nolan's catalog.
+1, and it's not like you picked out the few gems from a long list; that's like half his output as director, and over half as writer.
For a while there, I only went to a movie a year, but last year I went to two. It may be two again this year, to see this. I have absolutely no idea what it's about, but as with a blind buy with a BD, it may be a blind viewing for me with this.
I am interested in how he handles so much CGI at his disposal. Then again, I am not sure just how much was used already in previous movies, but it didn't seem to be all that much.
A movie you didn't mention is
Insomnia, and while a good thriller to rent IMO, it still doesn't match the original, per usual (with Stellan Skarsgard, instead of Al Pacino).
