Hey guys, I am in the process of building my 2.1 Ch setup. I have a pair of M & K S-5000THX's that I need speaker stands for. I believe they use an Omnimount #100 pattern, does anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks a lot!

You might want to ask in the speaker subforum. You'll get more help there.

M & K makes speaker stands have you looked at them ? I believe they are called ST-1

If you are looking for a generic brand, Sanus makes decent equipment. However, you speakers are pretty high level and you might want to look at Salamander instead;they are very high quality, that would befit your M & K bookshelf speakers, which by the way are very nice!

Good Luck and Good Sound!

What I am having problems with is the fact that the speakers don't mount on the bottom, they mount on the back. I just don't know how to mount them using regular speaker stands.

I will look into the stands you mentioned.

Thanks a lot.

Double sided tape works great. They make some really strong tape now. That is how I have the speakers at my Woods cabin mounted. These are Sanus stands.

Thanks a lot, I guess I can try it out... but each of these speakers is 55lbs so I would just be worried that the tape wouldnt be strong enough. Also, if I attach them with the tape will it hurt their performance at all?

Thanks for your help
