I feel stupid for even asking this. I normally have zero issues setting things up. I have my satellite speakers hooked up, they are fine. I got my Polk Monitor 70's today and cannot get any sound out of them. I tried hooking them up in the left and right stereo outputs above the surround sound jacks. I have gone through the book and the settings and can't figure anything out. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

The top set of binding posts is for Speakers B, not A. AFAIK, surround won't work using the B pair, but I have never used that set of outputs in a system.

Right. What I want to do is keep my satellite's hooked up to A, and the towers to B. I know I won't get surround from them, I just want it for music. The issue I'm having is when they are hooked up to B, how do I get them to work? Thank you for your help!

There are buttons on the back of the remote under the hidden door... on the bottom right of the remote are the buttons for direct/stereo mode and other settings.

My remote is not like that. I found the buttons though thank you. But when I hit the speakers button it just says "no front height". This is what has me perplexed because from what I've read it should switch to the B speakers. Is there another setting I don't know about?

you probably have to assign the speakers b from somewhere in the setup... check your manual.
