hello all,i have a sony xbr 8 46 inch tv and i just bought a pioneer elite sc 27 reciever. how can i use hdmi to connect the two,i don't really see a hdmi out from the screen,thanks.

You wont see an HDMi out from the screen because your tv is the end display. What you need to do is use your new receiver as switch essentially. Heres what you do run and HDMI cable from your cable box, bluray player, etc any source you have even if its not HDMI plug it into the pioneer. Then you can set the pioneer to either upscale the content coming in if possible and you can extract the audio. All thats left is running one HDMI cable to the tv. Hope this helps. Good luck!
