A certified cable means it has been confirmed to work and meet the spec, but that doesn't mean that one that isn't certified won't work AFAIK. For 24p, I would imagine that most cables will work just fine. http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/hdmi-cables/hdmi-cable.htm. I see no mention of 24p on their site, so I don't see an issue. There's a lot of info on their site about what matters and what doesn't with respect to HDMI. I buy all my HDMI cables only from them.

I use $1-3 cables purchased from amazon/meritline/monoprice. Don't know which cables in particular I'm using on the ps3, but I get 24p playback with em.

Yeah other people have mentioned theirs. I was thinking of getting the 15' "BJC Series-F2 Belden Bonded-Pair HDMI Cable". Is that a good cable? Will it flex so I don't have a hard bend on the cable behind the TV? I don't have much distance back there to work with. Thanks for the response.

Those are the ones I am using now and they are a bit thick, but they flex decently. Probably not the best choice for a really tight bend. If you look about mid page in that link there is one called: "Tartan Cable 28 AWG HDMI Cable" it specifically states "our most flexible HDMI", or give them a call and see what they think.
