Im looking for an entry level receiver that I can run my wii, ps3, direct receiver, and 360 into, and run the signal to my bravia via hdmi (in another room) I woudl like to run a basic 5.1 system in my living room, but I would really love that ability to run two outdoor speakers on my deck from the same receiver if that is an option.

Anyone have any good reccomendations for a receiver that will do what I need it to do, and not break the bank.

These new Denons might fit the bill, although the 391 won't have any extra outputs to run those outdoor speakers you want and I'm unsure if the 591 will have that capability either. They have enough inputs for your needs and are nice and cheap :)

Alternatively you could look at getting a more capable used or refurbished avr for potentially the same amount of money or a little bit more.

I would look at a refurbished Onkyo TX-SR607. It's pretty full featured for the price and has a powered zone 2.
I like the features for the price of that receiver, but will that allow me to run my wii out through the hdmi? I really dont want to have to run 30 feet of component cables through the wall considering I already have the hdmi run.

I don't own a wii and don't have the slightest idea what special needs it might have. I believe that the 607 will take a component input, up convert it to 1080i and output it through HDMI but I'd double check the specs and perhaps download the manual.

I like Denon myself as they're reliable and use Audyssey MultEQ in their entire line instead of 2EQ which Onkyo uses in their budget line.
