I played it non-stop when it was released, until I completed campaign on veteran, all Spec-ops to the highest levels I could and rolled over prestige online...Left it be for a very long time, but damn if it didn't get me again!! I picked it up last week to just kill some time, and here I am again....a few hours a day trying to hit prestige again! (at 42 now, I won't roll it over again, I will hit 70 again and keep that AK47 to continue my reign of domination!!!)
Xbox tag - Nearly 50 Hobos, if any of you wanna get down on some Team Deathmatch or Domination.

Always been a big fan of the M16, myself. I'll have to try that AK-47 when I get up to level 70 again.

The M16 is great, but once you get that AK and unlock some solid attachments...you're pretty much unstoppable.

Wow. Sounds like you've got quite the addictive personality. :D

I've never been able to sustain that kind of interest in a game. On both MW's, I've gotten my guy to about level 50 before I got bored and stopped playing. Every once in a while I think about picking the game up again, but I never do.

I get tired of shooters faster than any other type of game and this one was no exception.

FPS has the longest life for me. I'll play anything, but the online with some shooters give em some serious legs, that and also playing the campaigns multiple times if there's co-op so I can play through them with individual friends. I must have gone through Halo 3's 4 player co-op campaign about 8 times on Legendary just to do it with my multiple groups of friends.

I played the first one for a long time. This one wore out a lot faster, even though I liked the campaign more in this one.

I can't get enough of great online FPSes. My friends and I have all played between 8000-10000 games of Halo 2/3 online together and still play nightly!

I've only played about 3 days of MW2 with my friends, but I think we're still going to be going quite awhile.

I liked the co-op play of Nazi Zombies and Spec Ops but I can't stand the online death matches.

I played a bit of MAG, I think I could get into that one more so than MW2 but I've got too many other games to play through.

My point being, the only part I really like about the entire franchise is the online co-op part each one adds in.

If you like 4 player co-op online or split screen offline you have to check out Halo 3: ODST Firefight multiplayer mode. Very fun and difficult as well. It is meant to be played with up to 4 people acting as a team to kill off all the waves of enemies especially if you are into the harder difficulties.

I haven't stopped playing MW2 and it will be a long time before I do. I play it almost every day, even if it is only a match or two. The new maps are finally coming to the PC on Tuesday. As much as I hate the way Activision is charging $15 for 5 maps, two of which are recycled, I'm still getting it because I want more maps.

I have only finished one prestige mode. I plan on completing more but I don't want to give up my ACR just yet. I'm doing too good with it.

Trust me....I have spent many an hour over beers and controllers with that one!

Too bad everyone here seems to be on Xbox 360. I'm on PS3 and play MW2 regularly.

I don't see the big attraction to the AK47 though. I like it, but I don't think it's unstoppable, I've killed many in the game that are carrying it.

It's funny how things come in and out of popularity in the game. Currently the fad seems to be grenade launchers. I'm seeing them in almost all maps nowadays. I've altered some builds to throw in blast shields, they work nicely against splash damage.

Had a good five hour run last night of nothing but the new maps. It was a blast. Haven't done that for a while. I like the three new maps and Crash and Overgrown were always good.

I don't like the fact that they have them mashed together and you can't choose your game mode. However, we had a good team going last night and won nearly every match. :)

Man thats what you need in that game a good team... what hacks me off is when we are playing a team game and no one comunicates. Like if you communicate its almost a guaranteed win.

It doesn't make me unstoppable, but I generally stick to the 3 round burst weapons and just work accuracy with headshots for kills. I run the FAMAS until 41 then run the M16 until 70 with the AK, I can keep up pretty solid and constantly hit my 7 kill harrier strikes even with the FAMAS, so having the smooth action and increased firepower of the AK is great for players like me, I can turn my second perk to lightweight instead of having to use stopping power.
