Folks, I am curious to see who you favorite narrator is. As such, I would like to mention three myself:

Morgan Freeman as in the "Shawshank Redemption". I also like Kevin Spacey in "American Beauty". Likewise, James Earl Jones also does a great job. Many of which are made more for tv as on animal shows. I know there are countless others such as Oprah Winfrey, John Forsythe, and etc. But the question is which one do you like?

Cheers,

Phil

Morgan Freeman should be appointed Czar of Narration.

Peter Graves from Mission Impossible was another good one.

I certainly agree here. Kevin Spacey is also very good. Really like him in the movie K-PAX. It was kind of strange, yet quite intriguing to say the least. Thanks for posting. ;);)

Edward Norton - Fight Club

It's not that he's a great narrator, it's just that the role of narration in that film is extremely entertaining.

Also, bad narration goes to Tom Cruise. On top of him being "impossibly" pretentious I just don't like listening to him talk, especially when it's internal dialogue.

Edward Norton did do a great job in Fight Club. I remember it well. Excellent choice Seth!

Richard Nimoy aka "Spock" is also a very good narrator. That is, he has a way of getting your attention. You could say it is "highly logical".....LOL!!!! ;):p;)

Michael Douglas has also been known to narrate. Like Nimoy, his voice has a way of getting/keeping your attention. ;);)

Phil- I believe you mean Leonard Nimoy.

Richard Nimoy is convicted vegetable serial killer who went on a rampage in the 1970s killing carrots, leeks, and cabbage with his army of wild turkeys. :D:D:D (Ok- I made all of that up. Apologies to any Richard Nimoy's out there.)

Keith David has a great voice, but I don't know if he does much narrating. Most recently, he was the voice of the bad guy in The Princess and the Frog and he does the voice-over on those Navy commercials.

You are correct as I stand corrected. Thanks for pointing that out. ;):p;)

Folks, how about Patrick Stewart? I have heard him on several occasions and thought he did a magnificent job. Like some of the others mentioned here, Stewart's voice just has a way of getting and keeping your attention. Having a slight accent never hurts either. ;);)

I like Stewart's voice, but whenever I hear him I keep thinking that he should be performing Shakespeare....
