Hi, I recently scored a Velodyne HGS-18 subwoofer off evilbay for under $700 which is excellent condition; looks almost like new with very few tiny scratches in the high gloss finish. I also bought a grille cover from Velodyne, which they said was the LAST one they had!
Anyhow, this sub sounds absolutely fantastic in my 28' x 25' living room!!! I am wondering if the sub should be placed onto a piece of shag carpet, or dense foam rubber or should just rest on the Italian marble 16 x 16" tile? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
