They have a grilled version along with the fried one.
If you're going to do it right, get the fried one.:D
EDIT: this thread should be deleted before Alex finds out the sandwich has bacon.

This sandwitch is also known as the double bypass. That's what you'll be needing if you eat a few of these.

Yeah, I think I'll just go to Taco Bell instead and try the new tortada.

I can honestly say, since 2000, I have not stepped foot into a fast food place other than to use the restroom on a trip. I will never eat fast food again. It is slow poison in my opinion. I don't miss it one bit either.

I work in a Cath Lab in Phoenix and to qoute Lt. Aldo Raine (Inglorius Basterds) with a sandwich like this, "Business is a booming" :D

Un-official Nut facts: 540 calories, 32 grams of fat, and 1,380 milligrams of sodium. As bad as that may sound, it apparently is not as bad as some other popular fast food choices.

Don't forget the large fries and 32 oz Coke.

I agree with the "slow poison" comment. This crap should be taxed just like cigarettes. Maybe if dinner for a family of four cost $45 at the Golden Arches people might make more of an effort to try a healthier option. Apparently just being more healthy is not a great enough incentive.

I saw that advertised last night as I consumed a massive burger (Kirk's Steak burgers, legendary) across the street. I actually thought it looked good too :)

OK, I guess I'll buy that you haven't eaten fast food in 10 years, but you don't miss it one bit? I gotta call BS on that one. :p

The wife and I will usually go to McDonald's one night on the weekend when we don't feel like cooking and can't think of anywhere else to go. Unfortunately you can't beat the prices either. It's hard to say no to a dollar hamburger.

But to answer the OP, does that KFC sandwich come with a side of Angioplasty?

Remember that crazy Collossus burger that Jack in the Box had for like a minute? I tried one of those. I took one bite and took it back. It was just too much meat and cheese, even for me. I swear I felt my heart cough when I took that one bite.

I actually don't eat general fast food that much either, and I don't miss it one bit. Something like McDs or KFC are like a few times a month for me. The majority of fast food for me is limited to Quiznos, Togos or other better local sandwich places, or sushi (or other Japanese cuisine, I work close to Japan Town). I usually eat fast food if I am picking up or dropping off my kid somewhere or we have something going on. At lunch, only if I am in a crunch for time.

California Sourdough. Nuff said.

it's still not as bad as Hardees 2/3 lb. monster thickburger

not only do you get 2 1/3 lb charbroiled 100% Black Angus beef patties, 4 strips of bacon, 3 slices of American cheese and mayo on a sesame seed bun, but your order comes with:
1320 calories
850 calories from fat
95 grams of fat
35 grams of saturated fat
210 mg of cholesterol
3020 mg of sodium
46 g of carbohydrates
2 g of fiber
5 g of sugar
70 g of protein

that double down isn't looking so bad after all is it

I'm not a fast food hater. The fact is, a balanced diet combined with proper activity negates the damage the occassional fast food trip could do. I'm living proof of that. I once in a blue get fast food, and my tests always come back with me being too healthy. Very low all the bad, very high all the good.

Now if only they could get my mental issues worked out...

Nope it's true. I cant stand the stuff now. I won't even eat fast food pizza. I love pizza, but I want a real one, and it has to be New York style:)

I say double down and get two. WTF ... you only live once.

BTW, I haven't eaten at McD's, BK, KFC or Taco Hell since my last road trip. You think that food's bad in town?
Try eating it off the side of an interstate ... served by underpaid people who know your @ss ain't coming back.
