sub for this living room (pics)

Ive been wanting to pick up the svs pb13-ultra but im thinking its just gonna be out of my budget. so im thinking about the pb12-plus right now.

here is a picture of my floor plan . the RED circle is the location of the subwoofer and couch will be directly across facing it. What do you guys think about this size of room and how it opens to the kitchen?

A room that size may be pushing it for the Plus but I suggest you e-mail SVS for their advise. Would an eD A7-50 be a consideration? http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_info.php?cPath=2_41&products_id=746

You can't really determine that this "is" the spot for the sub because it could sound terrible there. I would think along one of the side walls might work better sound wise. I think a Plus would be OK in that room, but obviously not as good as an Ultra.

bc thats the wall where the entertainment center is going and it would look best. lol

i only have one other option and thats on the other side of the fire place iguess

I know, visually, but this is Audioholics after all so I have to bring up the consideration of sound as well
