If you can drive a screw I can give you a design and parts list for a sub. At worst you'd have to use a drill. It will be sealed, but it will be good.
I glad you have so much confidence in me.... If you factor in my costs for ordering a amp, driver, misc parts and buying a sheet of .75" birch ply it would easily exceed $600.00. cdn. Now by factoring in (your) time/labor cost...IMO it climbs to $800.00 or thereabouts and it still won't have the furniture like finish(ie:WAF) which I was seeking. I know some of you guys would consider this a labor of love but being a working stiff and having 3 kids, you of all people, knows family comes first....:)

It's called pre-built box.:D For stuffing an old pillow will be fine. Simply screw in the amp on the back and the sub on the front.

My Custom boxes are almost done... I'll start a thread with detailed pics of what I ended up doing... After seeing the pics of what they are doing, I knew that would be the way for me to go... John has been great to work with on this, and when I stopped by his shop in Green Bay, I was more then happy with the boxes he had pre-finished there. Hoping to have the final results next week, though I'm not really in much of a hurry... I just honestly couldn't do as nice a job without it taking me a freakin year to get them done....

I didn't go this way and probably should have, but his 15 + 2 x 18" PR setup was pretty unbelievable in SQ and output...

Wow I can't believe I'm having buyers remose already.... Maybe the ported design wasn't the way to go.. Not wanting an external amp really weighed in on my decision. Adding another 4" to the width would increase my low end from 18-16... IMO not really worth it but having dual 15" PR's instead of the port might have been the way to go? Oh..well hindsight is 50/50 maybe not in my case...

Stop second guessing or you will end up with a horn.

Sounds good. I suddenly am hungry for cheese after hearing about Green Bay.
