Spring a foot and its warm enough to be bearable to work in the garage for more than 10 min at a time. Need a pair of "garage quality" speakers to integrate into my whole house system. Its powered by Audio Source Amp 100 with Pandora-laptop as source. Looking for low end build either 2-way or single driver (full range?) to build 2-4 of them to place around the garage. Need to be able to play loud since the sound gets lost in there. I used to have a little radio out there but so much distortion having to turn it up so loud. Price range less than $75, really thinking under $50.

I'll be garage sale shopping as they pop up through the neighborhood but wanted to ask around here for ideas as well.

edit: added price range

I found a pair of JBL L18 on Craig's List, for my basement workshop. I didn't really need them but it let me sell my JBL L26 and not have to deal with no sound. Bookshelf speakers up in a corner take up little space and by having three boundaries, it increases the bass.
