DR.MARK, 40ohm Zs output impedance is to get the 28dB gain from the amp, that's normal condition. why do you need increase Zs? the spark is due to the switch on/off, it is normal for those appliances too.
A turn on and off thump is normal to degree but there are well known way of preventing it, and at the price of that unit, it should have an on/off switch that does not thump like that and set units into reset.
As far as the impedance goes, one of the most useful functions of a buffer is a combiner amp.
So when the outputs of the ATI buffer is combined with the outputs of the low pass active crossovers, the outputs of the low pass crossovers see the output impedance of the ATI L200 as a virtual short and the output voltage becomes negligible. So obviously I had to correct that state of affairs!
I'm going to call spade a spade. I have read a number of your posts, and they come dangerously close to trolling, if not trolling. Some of your post make no sense at all.
