Here's my setup 5.1:

Denon 788
Polk CS2
Polk M50s for front left/right
Polk R50s for rear left right
Polk PSW10 sub

Right now I have my laptop hooked up to the receiver's aux jack using a Y-splitter (headphone jack to left/right aux jack). The receivers settings are 5CH STEREO, Input = AUX, Analog.

In the past, I was able to send the signal to all the speakers, but now I can only get it to go to the front right, rear left, center, and sub which is really weird. I switched it over to input = Cable/TV and digital/ and was able to get all of the speakers to play.

Can anyone help me setup the receiver so that I can play music through the aux channel across all speakers?

Thanks!!

Sounds like the left RCA input or connection is bad. Have you tried a different Y-cable?

Well make sure that your cables are fine.
Than blame the operative system on your computer.
Check if all speakers are enabled (os).

Another thought - try some headphones and see if sound is coming out of both ear pieces.
