Height adjustable TV mounts

Hi,

Is there any height adjustable TV mounts that let the TV “come down”. The situation is that the only place that will fit the TV is above the fireplace, but I’d like to be able to lower the TV when I watch it, at least for movies. I found only one or two height adjustable mounts, but the TV is always above the mounting point on the wall, meaning the TV can only goes up toward the ceiling, not down. Is there any solution for me?

Thanks.

unfortunately none of the product in the link works. What I needed is a wall mount, that will let the TV sit above the fireplace, then when needed, the TV can be pulled toward you, and lowered down.

I haven't seen one that can do that and at that point your going to spend mega bucks on the ones that raise or lower. Id recommend going to a local custom install company and making an appointment for someone to come see the room and maybe a solution can be had.

I haven't seen one that can do this either. Clint here said something like this might be nice to have also, but honestly I doubt you will see something like this on the market because they are not going to be a volume seller. It is going to have to be custom IMO.

Find one that goes out and up, then mount it upside down:D

Isn't there a guy named Alex? I bet he can watch TV standing on his head:rolleyes:

yeah, I'm still looking too, but I don't need a motorized one, a manual one is good enough for me, especially when the price tag is so crazy. Let me know if you found one!
