HDMI converters over CAT 6

I'm having issues on 1080p output over 2 CAT6 on HDMI converters. Wire length about 100'. I've tried Calrad and Vanco. Any recommendations?? Sources are sat box and Sony Blue Ray.

Only 1080P and what other gear is involved?

Only Sat box and Sony BD. The client does not want a receiver at the time, so he wants me to add a switcher, which that's another can of worms. So my thinking is to find a converter that passes 1080p and then worry about switching it later.

I use these for 1080p installations with long runs, but if your going to add a switch later, costs start to add up. Do you get 1080i to come through?


edit: the reason for asking what other gear is involved, including the display, is because there are some products on the market that have limited "key" storage (as little as three) and that can cause issues.

Thx for the Gefen option, I will try it out. BTW, it does pass through 1080i and the display is a 60" Pioneer Elite. Limited key storage??

HDCP Keys (the pioneers of the last three gens hold many per input, no worries there). Ive used the gefens to the Elite displays and have had no issues going back to the 1140s. Good luck and lets us know.
