New B&W 805D Price?

Does anyone know the pricing on the new B&W 805D speakers including the stands? I am considering getting either the CM9 or the 805D.

Wow! $5700/- for 805D with stands. Now that's pricey. So I guess its CM9s for me then.

Why not pick up a pair of the non diamond tweeters for a great price

Genius move B&W... significantly raise prices on products in this 'great' economy. LOL. There is no evidence the diamond tweeters offer anything over a tweeter not made of precious gem material. Absurd marketing hype, especially when it results in such huge price hikes.

Chris - I don't get the new B&W pricing either. When are they planning to pass on the savings of offshore manufacturing to us the consumers? Now would have been a good time.

Besides, a difference of $1000-1500 between the high-end CM series and the low end 800 Series would have made sense, not $3,000. Paying 6K for a bookshelf? Ugh.

Bandphan- I will definitely check with my local dealer if they have any of the previous models remaining. Fingers crossed.
