I totally missed the meaning of that statement!
Congratulations!
I think I had to wait a little over two weeks after making my final selection and finalizing payment. It was nerve racking to say the least.
To make matters worse, I had asked the merchant to take an
Idealscope image of the center stone prior to mounting, because I had selected a stone based on physical proportions and a 40x image, rather than what they had in their physical inventory. Despite several reassurances that this would happen, they failed to do so.
I could have been a real pain in the arse and asked them to disassemble the ring, but the wait had been too painful and I pretty much knew what the image was going to look like and really just wanted it for my personal records.
At least my appraiser confirmed that I had made an excellent selection.
