redbox is cool. but the reason i like netflix, is that i don't have to make special trips just for movies. and having the previews are really cool. idc about having to wait a lil while for new releases. heck, i just watched a 2005 movie, Cinderella Man. which, btw, i gave 5 stars.

Alright, I already had my first experience with this: Where the Wild Things Are. Warner title and shows as "coming" with a date of 1 month after release. I am actually going to have to pay attention to which studio is releasin/distributing various movies now...

I was actually thinking of blind buying this, but I think I am going to have to play Warner's game and delay my purchase by at least 28 days.

Blockbuster is no better regarding sending new releases, the only thing that makes them appealing to me is that I can goto the store and get any movie I want... :p

Blockbuster was apparently able to cut a deal with WB so that they DON'T have to wait 4 weeks. WTF?

Blockbuster Inc. scored a coup today by announcing a new agreement with Warner Bros. to provide immediate availability of DVD and Blu-ray titles from that studio. Thus, The Blind Side will be available on March 23, in Blockbuster stores and by-mail. And on March 30, Blockbuster will have Sherlock Holmes available for immediate release.
