OK, here's what you do- fight fire with fire by asking, "You know that thing I've been looking for? Can you help me find it?" and after she asks "What does it look like?", you can say "IT LOOKS LIKE THE SONG YOU WANT ME TO IDENTIFY BUT WON"T GIVE ME ANYTHING TO GO BY!".

most radio stations have websites with a list of songs they recently played. Go through the list and youtube 'em

Yup. And for those that don't have it, you can use :

www.yes.com

Just search for the radio station. Then press the "Song Log" and check what day/time the song was played to know the name of song/band. Most of them even have embedded YouTube videos. They keep a record of the music list played in last seven days.

No, she won't get it, she'll just get upset with me and then I'll probably be asked to take out the trash and I won't get any for the day.

I do however have a breakthrough, the two words were sung a lot during the beginning of the song, and she thinks it sounds like the lead singer from Bush, though it's not, since we went through all their songs, or it could possibly sound like the guy from "Default" though it's none of their songs either. So that's something I guess, but I still don't have the words.
