Well I would say that most of the city is probably illiterate from what I have seen. I don't want to high horse it but I mean....come on ya know?

I only read the Journal online but either they fired all of their editors, the editors don't know grammar or they don't care because I see errors all the time.

Yes, the country is very low WRT the average literacy level and when I was a kid, the average newspaper was written at an 8th grade level. The average now is 6th grade relative to that same time.

Go ahead- high horse all you want. Milwaukee's public schools are failing miserably for most kids. They also have a horrendous dropout rate. FWIW, West Bend has a huge gang problem, too.
