That's what I use.
The ART DTI is a fairly good quality isolation transformer. I have measured/analyzed the device to verify performance. Some small frequeny respnose variation (-0.5db at 55Hz, - 1db at 30hz, -0.5dB at 15kHz), good THD performance and inaudible but some increased IMD (0.25%). It has connections for balanced and unbalanced (1/4, XLR and RCA). Comes in a great metal case package and can convert between different connections and convert unbalanced to balanced, etc..

Did you type that from your mobile device? Because if you only have 2 years left and you still can't spell school then I think you might be in school for a bit longer. :)

Seriously, I have no life.
Just an acronym adopted from other posts on the site......

I think you misunderstood....I HAD shrillness at high SPL's with the yammie, now it is cured by adding more power.

I am about to start my own audio panel DIY project as mentioned here. I will be starting a new thread in the next week or two....I have been very busy with all kinds of other stuff lately and some free time will be headed my way shortly. If you have any advice I would love to hear it. Also IDK what your social habits or schedule is like but you would be more than welcome to come over and throw me a few tips, Patrick has been over a few times and we have already improved the sound quite a bit by making little tweaks here and there.
I read the part about the shrillness right but I thought I would mention the RT60 issues that come with walls that are mainly bare, even if they have artwork, etc.

Did you call Acoustech yet?

So I would be able to run this in line with the cat5e that I am running my LFE over?

That doesn't look anything like the one at Rat Shack. You're using RCA outs to the sub?

I've heard pro amps tend to come with noisy fans. Is it okay to remove the fan if you're not going to be doing high power continuously?

Certainly not advisable as if it comes with a fan it is there to keep the unit within the optimal temps.
