Hey guys! I am selling my secondary system due to a move. The system is simple but really sounds great in a small/medium sized room! All of the gear is in excellent condition, no scratches, NEVER abused:

1-Harman/Kardon AVR-340 (7.1)
1-B&W HTM62-Center Channel (Black Ash)
5-B&W M1 Satellite Speakers (Black)
2-B&W M1 Satellite 42"-Stands (Black)
1-Sony Compact Subwoofer

Really this little set kicks butt! The sub is pretty entry level but does the trick for sure. Upgrade the sub later & you'll be blown away by the sound. Center is bi-wire capable. All 5 satellites have original wall mounts & chrome stands to place on a flat surface.

I paid over $2400 for the system less than a year & a half ago.
I am asking $1300.

I live in Los Angeles county area code 90603.

Alrighty then....i gave things another thought & am thinkin that $1300 may be a little steep. Since i really do need to get these out of the way im willing to make a deal with someone. (Less to take with me in the move!)

How does an even $1000 sound?....

Any takers??

If you don't have this stuff up for sale at Audiogon you really need to. It would probably sell faster.

You should also try selling things seperately. Thats would probably help move things as well.

+1

I like to offer stuff here first, but to move it, Audiogon is the place (or ebay, depending on your particulars).

As of now, this thread has only been viewed 156 times since you started it! Many of us are very comfortable with what we have, but still like to look at the classifieds just to see what is there. So in the end, the exposure afforded by these classifieds does not justify dropping your price if it doesn't move in 2 days!
On the other hand, if you drop your price enough, some idiot like me will buy it just because we're stoopid that way!:D:D:D

That is good advice!
I have since listed it on ebay but as a complete set. Been talking with seth=L and he told me to list them individually. Since it is too late for that i am gonna wait the week out & if it doesnt sell then i will list individually.

Yeah lowering the price after 2 days was just me tryin to move them...not smart on my end. But i did post it & will own up to it if i get any bites.

Not sure if i should also list on Audiogon since im on ebay too. What if i get people from both sides wanting it? Then what?....i know, wishful thinkin but seriously!

Your price was a little high at 1300 to begin with. Especially since the buyer will be paying for shipping costs. 850 to 1000 is a more realistic price.

You should expect the following.

550 to 600 for the M1's. Don't be surprised if someone offers 500 for the speakers without the stand.

250 to 275 for the HTM62

175-225 for the HK 340. Maybe less.

I wouldn't post the Sony on Audiogon as you probably won't get any offers. You might get some offers on e-bay. But don't expect much.

Yeah now that ive been getting a lot of feedback from people i am realizing how to go about selling my gear. The Sony sub was just an extra layin around and figured id find someone who wanted a complete system. Now i know itd be better to post seperately.

Thanks for all the tips!
