My father-in-law has these and I think they sound fantastic. Yes the elliptical tweeter. He is powering with 2 Hafler 500s and a mac 26 pre, they take as mush power as you can give them. Very balanced, with good extension(large though). As for the shopping, we each have our vises and mine tends to be vintage

I'm in Hamilton for a wedding. Road trips are nice in my big old 16 year old Lincoln. I'm going to use my new Canon T1i to take some photos at the wedding and I think I'll bring the laptop as well so I can show the photos right away.
