So my Onkyo is gone

I need a new receiver in the same price range...any suggestions?

I have an HSU sub and 2 totem bookshelf speakers..

I would go with Yamaha or Denon/Marantz or Pioneer or HK for receivers.

This may sound biased, but I've owned YAMAHA equipment for almost 30 years. Never had a problem, But, I'd go with the Mid-Higher end of their receivers.

I can get the onkyo 507 for $250..I had the 506 (which broke because the speaker bindings got ripped off)..I may go with that for the price.

Denon AVR590 ($350 shipped) & Harman Kardon AVR1600 ($352 shipped).

The Denon 1610/590 would be my pick. It has a good amp section, the best room correction at this price point (Audyssey MultEQ), and Denon's are known for reliability.
