I didn't read that requirement into it, and I doubt very many people have ever listened to those particular speakers to pick a favorite.

I vote for the DALI Helicon 300 Mk2 bookshelf speakers. Although they list at $3,800/pair, they can be purchased new for under $3,000/pair.
