Advice on a SUPER BASS sub

...I want something DEEP and LOUD and TIGHT!! So deep that you feel it and shakes the windows.
I have the SVS PB12-Plus in a 17x28 room and it performs just like you describe. I love it... don't know if the neighbors do though ;)

Carless about them. I have at least a .5 acre away from them...LOL

Plus the SVS would be great but think its in the 1000 dollar range..

I assume the higher the DB the deeper the bass...
No, the louder the bass! The Frequency column tells you how deep it goes, then you look at the db in the column to see how loud it will go in that frequency range.

To do what you want you need around 100 db at 25 Hz or less. If you look you will see the contenders are few.

Also, another point to remember, the ears and brain connection is not very sensitive at the low frequency band and you will need more dB to hear it or the lower ones to feel. So, you really need to figure out what performance you are really after as you can see from that list.
