Well for all the times he says stuff that's crazy. His organization is a humanitarian agency that actually does do a lot of work around the world to help folks. I'll agree he's a loose cannon, but I don't think demonizing him helps the people of Haiti.
And that sorda goes to my point. For every lame brain thing he's said, he's done a ton of good. What has Danny Glover done for society? Make no mistake though about the influence of hollywood. Even the most whacked out celebs shape people's opinion... but unlike Pat Robertson, most (not all mind you, but most) only want to help themselves or help if it gets them publicity.
In the end, it's the politicians that make things happen. Laugh or cringe, whatever suites you when you hear people like Robertson, Glover, Joy Bayhar, and any number of others give their typical uneducated or blindsided views of things.
