I just returned from the video store and plugged in the dics when I noticed there was nothing coming from the sub? I figured it could be the fuse and it wasn't, I then re-checked all my connection and ran some test tones and nothing....now I'm thinking it might be more serious.

Please help, Bill....:(
Sucks watching a flick w/o LFE...

Hey, Bill. I'd say make sure that you aren't using a sound mode that disables the sub, and also check the menus and make sure that the sub is set to on.

Okay I watched the rest of the movie(Star Trek)...good flick BTW and I swapped out my sub cables to no avail..than I decided to switch the AVR and found out my problem. The sub output on the my yammy is the cause. I'm glad to know that my sub isn't the problem but rather my receiver! Fcuk......

I took it in for service today. The suggested Yamaha service center was nearby and the work should be covered by the warranty....whew....:)
