Correct, the drivers in the Submersive aren't landmark drivers by any means from what I can tell, but the nice thing is with the box design, they stay well within linear tolerances with not much need for excursion at all to produce really decent output and have little distortion if any, and the design is quite efficient running off a single EP2500.

Here is a good thread where a guy used a Pair of AE AV15-Xs and built his own submersive clone, and from what I can see from his results - it performed very very well in a 136 L or 4.80279467 cu feet box... roughly the size of a SVS Ultra13.

$500 for drivers
$300 for amp
$100 for supplies (mdf & connectors)
EQ which you already have...

LMS Drivers

BTW, one can get LMS 15" drivers for under $600. People should know how/where -- and if they don't - PM me. I don't want to post it on here simply because of the reducing stock and me wanting them to be available for a bit longer.

I have in the past been having some of the worst luck in the world finding an LMS driver? Let alone for $600.00 ! ! Please help me out. I have already built the enclosure and have the money, , almost all of it-Just over 300 right now- (For references I have a very good feedback on Ebay((100% buying and selling). The enclosure I plan on housing the subwoofer is called a Bass Hybrid Reflex Transmission Line T-Box. Let me know on the LMS 15? Thanks . . . .
