I was looking at using these in ceiling speakers for rear surrounds. I am currently running a 5.1 system:

Marantz sr5003 receiver
Def Tech Mythos 2 left and right
Def Tech Mythos 3 center.

My question is it looks like these are set up for bi-polar wiring if I am looking at them correctly. However, I only have dual 12ga wire running to where the speakers will be located. Will they function properly with only the 2 wire hookup?

By the way have to go in ceiling per wifey's orders. Better than nothing.

That speaker can be used as a single speaker or as a stereo single speaker. You will be fine with your application. My I suggest looking at niles audio to save a bit of money and retain good sound?

Thanks for the info. I have run across the Helos 20' for 125.00 each and thought it was a good value. However, your suggestion on Niles is not out of the question. Any particular model #'s in mind?
