Optical input card?

Hi

What sort of problem is a damaged Optical card for a Denon AVR 1604 receiver?
Is this an off the shelf item that can easily be removed and a new one slotted in, or remove a few screws, or does it need to go to a repairer?
Also, roughly what do they cost?
You guys are mostly in the US and I'm downunder in Oz, so just a rough idea would suffice.

Cheers

Best bet would be to contact Denon, directly. I'm not aware that it's a card, but I haven't looked inside of a receiver in a long time- it would make sense to do it that way, but the fact that it makes sense tells me that it isn't done that way, for that reason.
