Emotiva announces Ultra Sub release

They look pretty nice but I can't wait until their ERS sub line comes out. Maybe some of the budget sub recommendations will have to include these.

I dunno. I'm not seeing any new ground being broken here. They're going to have to either low ball everyone else, or be way more creative from an engineering standpoint to best what's already out there. I guess it lends an option to all the fanboys.

I agree with you but everyone has to start somewhere and this is their first sub release. I like Emotiva and I'm glad to see them moving forward. They are also releasing a budget Ultra speaker line to accompany these subs. But nothing that will push the limits of technology

Yeah, but from what I heard from their budget speaker line already, I was less then impressed... no offense but they were extremely lacking in performance in our shootout... enough for the person that bought the pair - they sold them right after...

Cool. I found the thread from AH yesterday, but I didn't see any mention of Emotiva speakers.

Actually we had a recent GTG that wasn't as greatly announced, just to have a relatively short run at some different products and have a reason to hang out, eat food, drink some beers and shoot the poo.....

Sorry, after reading that entire thread about the upgrade company my brain was on the fritz.

$400 for 25Hz is not bad at all for a sub that small. Some people would be very happy with that kind of performance. 2 of those would be pretty killer in a 2ch setup and not break the bank.
