help with in-wall enclosed design

i would like to build some in wall speakers for left and right next to my screen. I want the performance of a good floor standing speaker just mounted in the wall.

so the encloser design must not be very deep.

You would have some baffle step items to correct, but other than that, technically it could work. The vent would need to open into the room as well. This could be an issue.
Yes the vent would not work there. it would have to vent out the front. . Are there any other designs I could adapt. Or how would I go about designing one from scratch?

edit i just read your in wall sub thread. Could that design be tweaked to make a 2 way speaker using multiple smaller woofers?

It definitely could. After doing the sub, that idea crossed my mind as well.

Engineering a stealthy grille system my prove more difficult than the enclosure design. :D
