The main difference here is that I never wondered about Matt's belly-button.
I seem to remember a line from Dice Clay about looking at the television screen REALLY close at Jeannie.

"...knock your Aunt Connie's sock off."

Seeing as the majority of "political posts" are blatant trolling then might as well ban them as they serve no useful purpose.

Mankind will never see an end of trouble until... lovers of wisdom come to hold political power, or the holders of power... become lovers of wisdom. ~Plato, The Republic

just thought I would share this.

Having previously been in an unmoderated forum on sports.(Yeah an uncoordinated nerd that can't even hit a baseball talking sports lol)

I do kind of miss the good ole cuss out thread, but this is AH and not an unmoderated forum on sports. AH is in the business to make money by delivering great content for audiophiles.

Problem here is we have a bunch of Smart Adam's and Alex's:p

That being said many of us seem to enjoy unleashing on the occasional folks with strange avatar's.

I can probably speak for most of the mods here, we really don't think threads about politics or religion really belong here. They just can't exist without problems. Somebody will always post something that offends somebody else when you deal with those subjects. It's not an issue about being "politically correct" or trying to make everybody happy. It's just that there's not much we as mods can do when somebody steps over that line in the sand. Threads get closed, deleted or members get banned.

Can't we just stick to the important subjects?

Speaking of the three. It's hard to believe it's been 15 years since Kurt Cobain passed away. Still one of the greatest bands of the 90s. Those guys rocked and gave my generation our music by setting the stage for everyone else. Couple that with MJ's loss and our music just isn't the same anymore.

I was always more of an Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots fan myself. But Nirvana had some good tunes too. I remember trying to figure out what the hell Kurt was saying in Smells Like Teen Spirit. You know, in the days before you could Google everything?

'Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n Roll'-Ian Dury and the Blockheads- good tune!

I have an ides for a new thread- 'The politics of religion'. Think it would last more than about a minute?

I'm sorry, this news station only covers sex, violence, and weather.

Did you hear about the nudists murdered during the last hurricane?

I would just like to point out, that I said this exact statement years ago. That's quite an echo. Seriously, How'd I get so smart anyhow.
