Funny you should bring up the term Obamaville. No doubt in reference to the Hoovervilles of the '20s.
Have you done your homework on this subject?
Hoover was no more to blame for these tent villages then, than Obama is for them today. The damages, when Hoover took office were already done.
Not unlike our current situation.
Hoover didn't deal well with the economy at the time. Hopefully, Obama's plan will get us back on our feet. But putting his name on this is simply unfair.

that is sad, and its going to get worse . but its not obamas fault. the blame can be divided up. 1, much of it is clintons fault. for making the banks lend to people that really couldn't afford it. 2, many of the people that were the said borrowers = they thought the "good times" were going last forever. and just kept on borrowing. 3, china. 4, our repressive government, going back years.

the problem with obama and his thugs. is they are trying as hard as they can to dig us into a DEEPER hole. all for "their" own personal gain. include bush and clinton in this, though not nearly as much as oabama

Here Is my 2 cents, It took 8 years to get to this point to say that Bush acted alone in screwing up this economy would be false it took the efforts of wall street and the credit card companies as well. So there is no way that Obama could fix this mess by himself in under a year into his term,if people are looking for miracles read the bible. So it is unfair to expect the economy to turn round in a year.

credit card companies ? what ? NOBODY FORCES ANYONE to use a credit card. a CC is much like a gun. it only operates when its holder(person) uses it, or, doesn't use it.
i have a credit card, and it IS NOT ruining my economy.

WALL STREET. i would say they are helping screw the country.

True nobody forces them to use it,But at one point that CC companies were giving cc's away to everyone and some of those people normally would never have gotten a card and first place based on income alone, these were people barley making it as it was and some company gives them a card they knew full these people use it. So you have to blame companies for their part just as much as the individual. Not blaming the companies who did this would be like not blaming the drug dealer for giving drugs to an addict.IMO
