Just got Netflix, any DVD suggestions?

I just signed up for the "free trial" for netflix. Really just wanted netflix but if they're offering me two weeks free, whatever. Anyway, anyone have any suggestions for my queue?

Also, did you get the blu-ray option?

Don't have blu-ray, so no. I'll watch about anything really. Comedy, drama, action. It's just so over whelming picking out the line up for the first time.

I could have given you a month free They send those out once in a while "friends and family" offers.

Go in and rate some of your favorite movies and it will start making suggestions for you. I've gotten some good suggested titles.

Also, look at your favorites and then choose the "show me more like this" option and it often has some good choices as well.

I started ordering what j_garcia and Darien liked. My g/f wouldn't speak to me for weeks on account of all the sub titles. There was also a thread about movies with great DTS that I liked picking from.

No such thing as a too long queue... unless of course you want to have a life, but then you wouldn't be hanging around on this board... so it all works out in the end
