I am going to take one more round of pictures this weekend. They will be of me finally able to relax and enjoy this big hole in the ground as I sip on some Don Julio 1942 Anejo and a big fat Montecristo Cigar.
Sure hope your cigar doesn't catch your fancy-pants Tequila on fire.

:D

Seriously though, I enjoyed a similar feeling once our patio was done. That sure is nice!

Yes, extremely awesome looking paradise-in-the-backyard!

Looks like it cost $100,000!:)

Somehow music will just sound a lot better when you are in your backyard. Bass will be tighter.
Highs will be sweeter.
And midrange will be clear as crystal water.:D

The only problem is, when you are in Cancun, you'll be saying, "Man, I wish I were in my backyard!"

Greg, what more can I say? That's awesome. I bet that you and the family are thrilled with it. It's beautiful, and I'm sure that it feels great jumping in this time of year!

I cannot stand the idea that looking at yours makes me want a pool.
Looking at his just makes me feel inadequate, but if it makes you want a pool...to each his own. :)

Men can't live without fire.

My orginal plans included two fire-woks but my budget didn't allow for them in the end (~3k for them).

I found these portable woks at CostCo for 35 bucks and they seem to work just fine for me. They run off the little propane tanks used for camping. They last a tad over 2 hours on the high setting and provide a good effect.

I never did get those night shots of me drinking Don Julio Anejo because I couldn't find anything sexy to wear for Alex...

Have you accumulated some "Pool in action" pics, would be cool to see. I guess maybe you are in a complete shut down mode at this time, I don't really know the weather in your neck of the woods so I am guessing. I think you prolly had the best home project out of all of us, except maybe for Forest Man with that new cabin and all but hey that's a cabin, anyway just wanted to have another look before winter sets in, (reminds me of warm summer days), at an awesome backyard upgrade that truly tops all I have seen lately, great job Dawg.

So what will the winter project be, home theater related , maybe ?? :)

yea, can you hire some models with minimal amounts of swimsuit fabric to make your pool look a little better? Seriously, all this water and no eye candy is outrageous. :p

Actually, I don't even need the pool to be in those pictures...

I could provide a picture of my fat gut drinking a beer by the pool but who wants to see that?

These were taken this morning:

That's not you, it looks like the Pool Boy that you bought for the Mrs.
Thanks for the pics, I said it before and I'll do it again that is a fabulous backyard I'm really contemplating a major renovation to the back yard but I am fully aware of the work involved with pool upkeep and such I just don't have the extra time and I can't afford one of those live in pool boys for the summer unless I get rid of my son, lol. I think a paver patio and maybe a Hot Tub are more my speed being that the Atlantic is 7 minutes from my porch.
