Hi: I've narrowed it down to either a Marantz 7001/2 or 5003 from (Accessories4less) to replace my soon departed 56Txi. Wondering what the experience has been from people on this site dealing with them? As I'm in Canada how would effect the warranty(Especially on a new Marantz)? I've tried their 1-800 doesn't work up here in Canada is there another one to use that is not listed on their web site? Thanks as usual for the help!!!

Because you are a Canadian living in Canada, you have to contact them for the extra charges (duty, shipping, etc.) and for the difficulties with the warranty. I really doubt that you can get a warranty.

I've bought plenty from them. They are located in the Orlando, FL area which isn't far from me. I have ordered cables and speakers from them. They are a Canton dealer and has been able to special order some Canton items for me in the past.

I would highly recommend them, but to be honest I don't know how things will be for somebody in Canada.

I almost posted the same thing, but discretion took hold. I'm going to put it back in the closet now.

I just bought a SR7001 from them earlier this month that showed up with a noise coming from the rt frt channel. I called them the next day and without any questions they emailed me a prepaid RMA to send the unit back to Marantz and had a new unit on its way to me.

No problems at all with the 2nd unit.

I'm very happy with accessories4less and plan on doing more business with them.

I have used Accessories4less for several items, some being big ticket, and they have always provided top quality customer service. I have had a couple of issues with defective parts and they came through with replacements super fast like a true top service company.

I highly recommend the company.

I can vouch for them too. They are a good company and stand behind their product. If you have a problem, they take care of you in a "no questions asked", professional, and competent manner. I can't imagine their policies would change for Canadian purchases, but I would ask them, in case. If they say they would treat the same, proceed with confidence.

I appreciate dealing with them as they are quick to ship and provide tracking numbers so you know what is happening along the way. I like to see new toys coming!

BTW, their default is to not require a signature at delivery. I appreciate this as I am rarely home when the delivery is made. I don't know how this works, but if your neighborhood might be insecure, mention it when you place the order.

Great company.

I bought more than a few items from them like speakers, CD changers, and receivers from several manufacturers like Marantz, Onkyo and KEF and never had one problem.

Dunno about shipping to Canada and warranty work though. Aren't there also some duty fees related to importing items there as well?

I thought we had free trade with Canada.

As long as Accessoriesforless is an authorized Marantz reseller, then the Marantz warranty will be honored. Accessoriesforless is listed as an authorized online seller: http://us.marantz.com/1614.asp

Buy with confidence.

True, but I would strongly suggest he check with his local authorities (or maybe send an email to A4L?) before simply assuming there are no hidden fees. Remember, these items aren't made in America.

Hi Stereoguy,

What most people here seems to be forgetting, is that you're from Ontario, Canada.
And they don't know how Accessories4Less is dealing outside their own country.
