Hello ,i'm new ,so little quick preview on me,i'm a student in video editing and was thinkig to buy a sound card for my educational perposes. I need to know if there is a diffrence in the audio chip between this too cards ,exept the feauters. I need detal exemination of the feauters of this 2 cards. There is another version of delta series i was looking, delta 44 ,the difference from 66 is that it has no digital I/O and it has 4 analog only. I only found out that delta 44 uses VIA ENVY24 audio chipset, don't know anything bout audiophile 192 chipset or maybe delta 66 uses another chipset?...any thoughts?

Did you check out the Delta 1010LT? For just a few bucks more it gives you more flexibility for future uses and, from everything I've read and seen, is a better card all around. Also, are you married to M-audio? E-MU makes a good PCI card, the 1212M, that has better dacs and you don't have to deal with all the work arounds of M-audios proprietary crap (unless you are looking to use protools). Another also, are you married to a PCI card adapter? If not, an outboard interface will open up a lot more possibilities in selection. Just some stuff that I would take in to consideration. Hope this helps a bit.

yeap, protools, that's the main reason also and a good game performer as well to be. Also,i choose to be PCI couse of the low latency i think...there is better bandwith compare to usb and firewire 1394a .

EDIT: I will concider then 1010LT because of the price range, yeah,it is the same price as the other ones...to be prices, also i would like to be a good game performer while it is a prof. studio card. E-mu is creativ right? what audio chip uses? Is it a good game performer compare to m-audio's?

By looking at their website I would say the chip in all three are different. They have different dynamic range and THD +N, etc... Now this is on paper; in real world you will not be able to tell the difference; rather look at the IO and other features - see what really floats your boat.
My advice is take the specs and the components with a grain of salt; I saw poor ("audiophile BS TM") engineering with premium components and good engineering with average components.
I also recommend EMU rather than m-audio...
