Suggestions to replace aging Pioneer CSD9900 15" speakers?

Hi folks. I'm looking to replace my old Pioneer CSD9900 15" speakers and wanted some suggestions. I do like the larger size but probably need to upgrade soon. Info appreciated. I'm kind of new to all of this so i don't know what to look for when buying speakers. Never really done it!

Welp, you never stated a budget, but when I think of large drivers, one particular name comes to mind, and that is JTR (Triple 12s).

Wow yeah I should have mentioned that. I don't even know what speakers like this cost really. They were my Uncle's at one point so I didn't pay for them. $500 or less? Is this possible? What do I look for when buying speakers? Thanks.
