I am looking for a TV to mount on my wall in my keeping room. I think I need between 42" and 52". There are some windows in the rooms, so does that rule out a plasma? What is the best deal I can get out there from $500-800? I am not opposed to a used tv.

So you wouldn't be worried about glare w/ a plasma?

Very minor reflections would be the worst you should expect. No, you would no see "glare". When people talk about plasmas being reflective or having a lot of glare, it's not that it's a concern in any semi-controlled lighting on a good TV with high quality coatings like Panasonic, it's just the best thing that can be said about some LCDs that have a completely matte screen. Don't discount the X1 or X14 model for under $600 either.
