Hey all

Instead of being pissed at the police, dig out an old Police cd and enjoy. I happened to have a Police Greatest Hits come up on my cd jukebox today and WOW! Maybe my system was crappy back then or I just didn't listen correctly, but I really liked it, A LOT! Not to say that I didn't like it back in the day, but this really sounded good! Check out those drums!

Hope this brings some enjoyment to others as it did to myself, what fun!

The Police on Blu-ray.

"The Police Certifiable: Live in Buenos Aires" on Blu-ray is excellent. :)

I've never been a fan of their vocals, but their recordings were top notch in their day. The snare drums really pop in those recordings and it makes a decent high volume listening experience.

My college roommate bought the complete recordings box set, and from the little I remember, it was pretty cool. I thought you might be interested griffinconst.

Looks like cd-universe is cheaper than Amazon which is cheaper than Borders.

My old guitar teacher is friends with Andy Summers, as well as The Edge, but I never got to meet them. A classmate of mine says that he actually introduces The Edge to others as, well, The Edge, lol.

The reason it may sound great is because it was a very good remastered CD. The SACD multichannel mixes were pure crap on the other hand.

Thanks for the heads up jost.
Do you think The Edge's close friends call him "The"?

I'm sorry to hear that...bad news.
