I rented Orphan off Apple TV this weekend.

I'd recommend this movie. The premise isn't original, but they have some unique twists that make it interesting. The movie also runs a bit long, and degrades into a bit of formula at the end, but for the most part it was very suspenseful.

Without giving much away: The movie is about a family that lost their third child in delivery, and to fill this void they wish to adopt. Only the child they adopt seems to have trouble follow her.

We rented it this weekend as well, thought it was a decent movie. The ending kind of dragged at the end but we liked the twist as it had some science behind it.

Yea, I thought the ending was kind of formula. The cheese ending line I really could have done without.

A coworked suggested this one to me, so I added it to my blockbuster queue. Hopefully it will be worth my time.

I think it will be. I'm being kind of hard on it, but, overall it kept me really enthralled and interested throughout the story, and kept me trying to solve the 'mystery.' Also, when we were done watching it, we had plenty to talk about. Where some movies are like 'well, okay... that was.. um... fun." This one spurred a lot of discussion and 'what if's' Also the acting is good.
