OK, who is deleting my "thank you's"?

lol. I had at least a few removed this week, and it seems in the last day another few have been removed.

I think I remember once a while ago, one was removed, but only because they just changed it to rep instead.

I first suspected LOTR. But I can't even find his posts anymore.

So do my thank you's disappear, perhaps in stages, along with his posts?

Or is a moderator screwing with me again? (they've changed my texts on me before; one time they left it for a while, and then changed it back, but who knows who it was).

lol, amusing.

If they are systematically deleting LOTR's inputs, that might account for it.

"Thanks" also disappear when threads are deleted. They'll be there if a thread is soft deleted, but once it's hard deleted - goodbye thankies.

I had a few disappear as well. I just thought I was being paranoid. It's nice to see the people that are out to get me are also out to get you.

I know that you weren't pulling a classic "gimme some sugar" (as Mike C. would say :)), so you got a couple of thanks to make up for it. I see that Craig hooked you up, too.

It is funny. I lost almost 30 thanks but my rep points only went down for one or two of them. I thought when the thanks were deleted we would lose the rep points. There must be a statute of limitations on point removal.

Or the thanks count decreases with a soft delete, but the points don't get removed until a hard delete. I forget if the thanks count is changed for a soft delete, though.

Haha, thanks. I hope Mike C is doing ok these days. Anyone talk to him lately?

30 ?!? I haven't been keeping track but I think we should reinstate LOTR.

Uhm, this time the friendly ribbing was unintended. I'm the current record breaking point whore so I was making a different sort of joke. But I just shot you a couple of points so you would feel better. :p

Thanks don't carry the same weight as an actual positive rep point, which would explain why rep didn't drop as much as if they were reps instead of thanks.
