Good post Chris, yeah it sucks right now. We are still waiting for them to release the names at our level to see if we know any of the victims.

Two from Wisconsin were killed and another wounded. He was a discipline problem, didn't get along with others, was a bit of a loner AND a psychiatrist (never met one who wasn't a big bag of issues) and this didn't raise any flags? It's not the first time that a Muslim in the US military turned on US troops but it's the worst incident of this kind at a US base. Even with his problems, he still made Major.

Sorry, but profiling would have kept this from happening.

Unfortunately the military is as PC or more than anyone else. Personal in the medical fields can come in as Captains and Majors once they finish the required schooling. Our Veterinaries that take care of the dogs come in as Captains as well. Basically they are over paid Privates.

That'll never happen. He gets the death penalty for this. If they executed Eddie Slovik, they can execute this POS.

Unfortunately, I have been wondering when the next event would happen and this may be the start of some of the crap that hasn't happened since 9-11. He knows weapons aren't generally carried on base and he knew he would be able to kill a significant number of people. He didn't want to be deployed and like any good Muslim, he didn't want to fight against other Muslims he didn't have a problem with. I'm sure, by virtue of being AND CLAIMING TO BE PALESTINIAN INSTEAD OF AMERICAN, the US position in the Arab/Israeli conflict had a lot to do with him doing this.

Isn't Somalia the home base of The Pirates of the Indian Ocean? That place hasn't had an operating government since 1993 and it's pure anarchy.

...and now they're exporting that anarchy to here? That country is a malignant cancer that's spreading.
