Sometimes cheaper to buy a used disc that works from Gamestop or Craig's List.

Good Luck, I feel your pain.

Yeah. The game is Terminator 3: The Redemption. I got it used from ebay awhile ago for a total of $5.13 and just got around to playing it. It gives me a dirty or damaged error on Mission 8 and I can go no further. :( It's not really a great game, but I like it enough to want to finish it.

Amazingly it looks the seller will give a refund and the repair sites look pretty cheap.

There is a place, they can even repair game Cd's
http://www.wefixcds.com/

They usually polish the discs to regenerate them.
Same site as azura disk that I listed.

Well I went with DiskRepairServices.com. Worked out great. Though it took quite awhile. Took a little over a week to get their 2-way prepaid mailer. I shipped my disk back the same day. Then about another week later I got my restored disk that works great and looks damn near new. Total cost: $5.25. Shipping was from CA to ND so time will vary.

I use a disk doctor. They are about 30 bucks and if you plan to buy a lot of used disks the may be worth it.
