FS: Rockets & Rumble

I hate to do it…but I have to sell my beloved Rocket front stage setup (RS850s and RS200). I also need to sell of my two MFW-15s. I have had these pieces for less than a year. They have been in a dedicated theater room that sees very little use (I swear my honey-do list keeps me to no more than one movie per month). Of course, they did support some light TV watching (mostly nickelodeon based television). Anyway, my wife and I are having another little boy, and we have decided that we need to get theater equipment that we can hide in the wall. This is what has put me in this predicament.

I love these speakers and subs. I have a huge room (well over 5000 cubic ft) and they fill it effortlessly and sound terrific. All of it is in mint condition as I am the only one allowed to touch them. Not even a nick on them. Most people know that the Rockets are an incredible value. The MFW-15s have also gotten some excellent reviews and I can confirm that these things will pound you in the chest.

I would really like to keep this a package deal as much as possible. I’ll entertain breaking pieces if I get enough interest generated.

Rockets = 2200 and Subs = 1000 (of course, buyer pays shipping)

That seems like a pretty good deal. Sorry you have to let these go. That'll make somebody one heck of a setup. Where would you be shipping from?

I totally overlooked the shipping info. I'm located in Yorktown, VA (23693). I have all the original boxes and they are in great shape. I didn't break the boxes down when I stored them so the boxes still are very sturdy (I know breaking them down sometimes weakens them).

One of the great things about HT is that the hunt to find something that fits your need is a lot of fun. I'm enjoying that part. Just wish there were more places nearby to audition. Ultimately though, I would rather keep what I have...I'm just trying to look at the silver lining.

I can't say I'm in the market for anything at the moment, but congrats on the new addition. She is pregnant right? "having another little boy" is a bit vague. I'm hoping I'm going down the right path with this one.

Yeppers. She is pregnant. Almost at the 7 months mark. We hace another little one who is 17 months...gonna have two under two years of age! Weeee

I'm interested in the package, but couldn't even look at purchasing until 2nd week of December. I live in 21045 zip, I would drive 1/2 way to meet. I guess I'll check back in a couple weeks to see if it's sold.

I have somebody who may be purchasing one of the subs. He is also semi-local. If it is important for you to have both subs we will need to work something out sooner.

I'm not sure I will be able to meet you halfway. I will explain why in a PM if you are interested. Sorry, I'm not trying to be difficult...just dealing with a particular situation right now. I'll do my best to accomodate if you are really interested though.

I still have them both...but I am hoping to have one sold soon. The other can be had for 500 plus shipping.
