My AVR hasn't shipped yet. I am a little concerned - even though the place is an authorized dealer, they don't have the amazing reviews that places like 6ave and OneCall have...
Did they give you an estimated shipping date?

I'm enjoying some tasty Smirnoff Ice Strawberry Acai. I can feel my biological clock ticking, but I still like it.

The product page says 1-2 business days - I ordered it last Wednesday evening and all I have received from them was the confirmation email.

I sent them an inquiry about it so hopefully I hear from them tomorrow...

So you're saying you watched porn as a family?

That is downright freakish!;)
Fortunately, no. My brothers and I were so repressed that I can't even watch an episode of Friends with my parents without being embarrassed.

Not too far off. Today was a holiday for a lot of places.

Yeah, the Missouri public school system failed me miserably. I finally got around to reading Curious George my sophomore year.
Oh, maybe I should have mentioned a sorority or something. It was about "tare in too lah".

I have a Honda. :)
My wife's car is a Civic.
My Y2K Focus w/ 150k just made it to Oklahoma and back without too much trouble. You guys act like if it's not an import it won't work. What's worse is that our new car is an '08 Malibu. You guys are killing me in these last few posts.

How was Boston? I might have told you to go to the top of the Prudential Building but you probably would have balked because it wasn't a view of a bunch of Samurai rice patties.

Well, I think I am going to go to sleep. I haven't slept more than 3 hours in a night since last Wednesday night thanks to traveling, rental cars, festivities relating to my brothers wedding, Vultures, etc. so I am going to enjoy the rest. :)

'night!

Didn't you notice that he told them to bring a Ford? :)

I like non-imports, my man.

I don't really know what you mean. I am a Ford guy all the way, and have been since I had a Tahoe blow up on me a few years ago literally 2 weeks out of warranty, and then it got replaced by a Tahoe because the dealer pretended to want to help, which did similar things a year out of warranty, and I have always hated Chrysler. My wife came with a Civic, and if I had a say, it would be a Ford too - probably a Fusion or a Focus.

The Civic is reliable, and that is fantastic, but it is the most uncomfortable vehicle in the world. I am plenty happy with the reliability on my Sport Trac though, and have few complaints -and it is wonderfully comfortable.

Sorry to make you nervous, but I can't say I had good luck with the '09 Malibu, and was not a fan (hate is not too strong of word). You should have stuck with Ford. :p

I kind of wish I would have asked you more about Boston. We kind of got bogged down with all of the family stuff and didn't really get to see any sights because we didn't know where to go. I will have to go back sometime without other obligations. It wasn't too fun to drive in but the history is very interesting.

I might take a look at a Ford Fusion Hybrid.
Our replacement car was a Fusion non-hybrid and I absolutely loved it - the ride, the comfort, and the quality were stellar. I would say the Fusion hybrid would probably be awesome.

Well, maybe I'll go test drive one. Then again, probably any car that was running would have been a real step up for you at 2:30am. :D

That is true, but then I drove it for two more days, and I really, really liked it. I would definitely try one out.

I like power and I wanted a 2010 Taurus SHO, but they are pretty big cars, and rather expensive. I am thinking a good replacement for our Civic IMO would be the Fusion Sport.

Also, Ford recently became the top-rated brand for initial quality - even above Honda.

I was going to go to sleep, but I love talking cars! :D

I've only owned 1 non GM car and the wifey had a couple. The Mazda (Rx8) we had was the biggest waste of money I can remember, but I've never been happier with the handful of Pontiacs and chevys.

I get the sorority thing now, Adam.
